Prophetic Words Over Colorado

“I am focused to bring forth My harvest in this state.  And that which would prevent it, the old methods and the old weapons
that would prevent this harvest, I would say to you, let go.  I am going send a wind that will blow the spirit of Nazareth off of
this state.”
“Colorado is a treasure in this nation.  Let the treasure of this state be mined properly and brought forth this season.    Chuck
Pierce 50 State Tour October 2003

“There is a radical cutting edge that is on the state of Colorado.  That is part of your inheritance.  This is a state that takes
territory that presses and breaks into new places, that brings forth trail blazers, that brings forth frontiersmen, forerunners, and
radical cutting edge revolutionists.”  Jill Austin, October 2003

“I say I am bringing a sound and it will arise from this place.  I say when you walk out of this room, do not see the city or the
mountains the same way you’ve seen them, but see them with a new song rising over it.  See it with a new song coming forth.
See it with a sound that is unlocking and removing the power of the secret societies of this land.  I say I am bringing forth a new
song from the mountains of this state that will cause a nation to quake and the streets to come from disturbance to rejoice.  I
say to you this will be a sound that causes the robber and the thief to be found out and I say it will be a sound that produces
the increase that has now been held and stored in the enemy’s house.  Chuck Pierce September 2007

“I believe that the winds that are getting ready to blow across these mountains are going to bring a realization of the one true
God that created them.    And all the New Age stuff is going to have to begin to yield.  He is going to establish a place that will
declare His glory to the nations and I believe this is one of those places.”  Ray Hughes June, 2009

Colorado Geography
The average elevation of Colorado (6800 ft. above sea level) is higher than any other state and it is the home of 54 mountain
peaks that reach over 14,000 feet.   The Continental Divide, stretching across the state, makes Colorado a watershed.

Out of the mountains of Colorado flow the headwaters of 9 significant rivers including the Colorado River, which flows west and
is principle drainage for the entire southwestern United States.  The Rio Grande, Arkansas and South Platte are three of the main
rivers flowing east. Colorado provides water for Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona and California.

Colorado is rich with natural resources including oil, gas, gold and silver. More gold was mined out of Cripple Creek, Leadville, and
Central City than all of California combined.

Colorado State History
Colorado's first inhabitants were probably the Anasazi Indians who, four centuries before Columbus, lived in multi-story cliff
dwellings in canyons in the southwestern corner of Colorado. At the end of the thirteenth century, these Indians abandoned
their cliff dwellings and apparently moved southward. The first Europeans to venture into Colorado were the Spanish.

In 1800, Spain ceded a vast area, including Colorado, to Napoleon Bonaparte and the French. Three years later, the same
parcel of land was sold by Napoleon to the United States as the "Louisiana Purchase". In 1806, President Jefferson
commissioned Lieutenant Zebulon Pike to explore the recently purchased territory. Among the sites mentioned by Pike in his
report of the expedition was the 14,110-foot peak, which today bears his name. Katharine Lee Bates wrote the original version
of America the Beautiful 1893 when she was near the top of Pikes Peak. She said, “All the wonder of America seemed displayed
there, with the sea-like expanse."

Many Indian tribes roamed Colorado. The most dominant of the nomadic plains tribes
were the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Comanche, and Kiowa. The Spanish found Navajo in southwestern Colorado. The Apache
frequently came into the state from New Mexico and Arizona. The Ute tribes inhabited the state’s mountains and appear to
have been the only indigenous tribe of Colorado.  They were placed on two reservations in southwestern corner of Colorado,
Southern Ute and Ute Mountain.

The Sandcreek Massacre of 1864 has been known as the shame of Colorado.  Peaceful Cheyenne and Arapaho were massacred
and mutilated in a very disgraceful way. Col. John Chivington a former Methodist minister and high-level mason led the charge
and used God’s name in justifying it. Because of that, Native Americans throughout North America have used the Sandcreek
Massacre as a reason to not except the “white man’s God.”

In the early 1800’s a small farming settlement had been established in the San Luis Valley, but most settlers pushing westward
across the Great Plains continued on to the more fertile lands of Oregon, Washington, and California.  It was the discovery of
gold that brought large numbers of settlers to Colorado.  In July of 1858, William Green Russell, a Georgia miner, discovered
several hundred dollars worth of gold at the mouth of Dry Creek near Denver. Russell's find started the "Pike's Peak or Bust"
gold rush of 1858-59. Historians estimate that approximately 50,000 people came to Colorado in search of gold in 1858-59.
Along with the gold diggers came the houses of prostitution.

General Information

Military
There are six major military bases in Colorado.  The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is located in
Colorado.  NORAD is responsible for “watching”, “warning” and “responding” to threats on North America.

Communications
Colorado is satellite friendly. It has been reported that the 105th longitudinal line, which goes directly North to South through
the Denver Metro area is very significant.  It provides a satellite single hop from Europe to Asia. Satellite is the favored method of
transporting television for cable distribution in local markets. Denver became the new location for many cable companies in the
90’s. Now Denver is the unrivaled hub for cable television distribution in the world. That distribution goes to all continents and
serves local area cable vendors and hotels and resorts. “Colorado Companies are making millions in pornography, “feeding on
flesh.”  Denver Post 4/3/2004

Restoration of Colorado wealth begins with Southern Ute
The Southern Ute suffered decades of oppression and poverty. But today, with their Red Willow Offshore, LLC and other tribal
businesses the 1400 or so tribal members are collectively worth billions. They built their empire by taking control of the vast coal
bed methane and natural gas deposits that lie under their land. The Southern Ute Reservation sits on one of richest gas fields in
the country.

Defiled Roots and Their Fruit
•        In 1967, Colorado became the first state to reform its abortion law based on the American Law Institute (ALI)
recommendation. The new Colorado statute permitted abortions if the pregnant woman's life or physical or mental health were
endangered, if the fetus would be born with a severe physical or mental defect, or if the pregnancy had resulted from rape or
incest. Other states began to follow suit, and by 1972, 13 states had so-called ALI statutes.
•        Same sex marriage was initiated in Colorado 29 years ago. The Denver Post on April 3, 2004 reported that on April 21,
1975 two homosexual men Adams and Sullivan from California were granted a marriage license in Boulder, CO. Before long the
practiced was stopped by the Colorado Attorney General expressing other Colorado laws invalidated any such marriages. But
the Adams & Sullivan “marriage” has never been declared invalid. It is still listed in the Colorado archive: Adams listed as groom
and Sullivan listed as bride.
•        Pornography is widespread in Colorado  An article in the Denver Post April 3, 2004 stated Colorado’s strong high-tech
foundation, its history as a cable-satellite-and TV hub and a technology evolution has made it easier to deliver adult material
directly in to the homes. Colorado Companies are making millions in pornography, “feeding on flesh.”

Re-digging the wells of revival
The headlines in the January 20, 1905 Denver Post read “Entire City Pauses For Prayer Even At The High Tide Of Business As
The Soul Rises Above Sordid Thoughts.”
Businesses closed their doors for prayer between noon and 2:00 PM at the request of J. Wilbur Chapman who came to town
and called the people to pray.  A quote from this article: “Seldom has such a remarkable sight been witnessed-an entire great
city, in the middle of a busy week day, bowing before the throne of Heaven and asking and receiving the blessings of the King
of the Universe.”
